Who we are

Cytognos S.L. is a clinical diagnosis company located in Salamanca (Spain).
We design and develop reagents, techniques and a software to provide innovative flow cytometry solutions.
In addition, since 2018 we have improved our solutions and we commercialize the Omnicyt™ cytometer that carries the CE-IVD mark, therefore it can be used in clinical applications.

Quality Cytognos S.L is certified by the ISO 13485 for Medical Devices, therefore we offer the best quality products and guarantee compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements.
Our certification by ISO 9001 allows us to keep improving products, achieve customer’s satisfaction and meet any requirement of our stakeholders. Products and services given by external suppliers might affect directly our company activity. For this reason, Cytognos S.L informs suppliers that they will be evaluated. This evaluation will be based on specific criteria previously defined according to a risk assessment performed by Cytognos. Also, Cytognos will monitor suppliers continuously as well as their compliance based on defined requirements for ordered products and/or services.

Cytognos was founded in 1996 by the Hematology Department at the University of Salamanca.
It was first established in Spain and currently we have a strong presence in the international market.
In 1999, Cytognos joined one of the Spain’s largest companies in the diagnosis field, Grupo Vitro.
In 2006, Cytognos became part of the EuroFlow™ Consortium and started the software development of Infinicyt™. This innovative software analyzes flow cytometry data.
In 2010, we started the commercialization of panels for clinical diagnosis. These panels follow the EuroFlow™ protocols and are available in kit format.
In 2017, we launched an automated analysis new tool based on patient data databases. For the first time ever, a product like this was used in hematology laboratories.
In 2018, we completed our products offer with the last generation flow cytometer Omnicyt™.


Cytognos is composed of more than 65 highly qualified employees from multiple nationalities.
Our I+D department unites knowledge, experience and plays an important role in the reagents and software development and in the optimization of protocols and instrument set up, also in flow cytometers, especially the Omnicyt™.
Our product specialists are well trained in flow cytometry and currently provide support to customers and distributors in more than 54 countries around the world.
