We are a biotechnology company involved in several national and international R&D projects and other collaboration agreements. Due to our strong R+D activity we need to incorporate a legal expert in R&D activities to carry out the following tasks:

    • Elaborate and review contracts for the regulation of confidential information transmission, technology licensing and IPR agreements, commercial agreements with suppliers, distributors and other industrial or technological partners and collaborative projects agreements.
    • Search patents and trademarks terms, patentability reports, support applications for patents and trademarks.
    • Provide support on taxation relief over R&D activities performed by the company, knowledge of the Spanish legal framework.
    • Participate in preparing, applying and monitoring national and international R&D projects involving diagnostic kits, devices and software.

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of proven experience in any of the activities described before, a law degree and a Master’s degree in international business law, LLM Intellectual Property Law and New Technologies or a Master’s degree in taxation with specialization in R&D activities.

Fluent in English and Spanish is required since the job tasks will be developed in both languages.

We shall additionally place value on the knowledge of European regulation on Medical and In Vitro Diagnostic Devices, low voltage, electromagnetic compatibility, machinery, RoHS, CLP and REACH or FDA medical devices regulation.
