The Strategic Marketing role is accountable for BD Bioscience’s Cytognos global portfolio which includes IVD assays, single color reagents, RUO reagents, software and databases.
Within this marketing role, this individual will be accountable for the short- and long-term global marketing strategy and financial objectives for the Cytognos portfolio. This role is accountable for the achievement of key marketing goals for the Cytognos portfolio and product lines; provides significant input into Cytognos product-related business decisions and resource planning; influences the development and drives the execution of Cytognos product line plans; contributes to worldwide Cytognos product planning and strategy; serves on Global Product Development System (GPDS) Core Team(s) for the Cytognos portfolio; manages Cytognos marketing expense budget driving top line sales performance; influences and frequently engages with regional marketing teams; plays critical role in key Cytognos projects/initiatives, often leading project/initiative teams, including marketing core team member on product development core teams. Demonstrates marketing expertise through specific and advanced set of skills and knowledge, e.g. market shaping, HEOR, product development, forecasting.
Responsibilities:
- Defines a vision for the Cytognos portfolio and is responsible for driving comprehensive strategic and tactical plans achieving business and financial objectives.
- Drives strategic initiatives for Cytognos product lines.
- Partners with KOLs and also internal stakeholders from R&D, Regulatory, Operations, Sales and other functional and regional teams to value new business opportunities and to develop new products relevant to growth.
- Manages Cytognos portfolio with responsibility for results in terms of achievement of budgeted levels of sales. Works cross-functionally to deliver operational objectives and assignments.
- Develops “upstream market research” strategy and policies for market and industry intelligence.
- Working with the platform leader, develops and sets global pricing corridors and related policies for new product launches, and as applicable, existing products.
- Accountable for working with regional marketing counterparts to develop and execute regional strategies to ensure achievement of financial/ budget expectations
- Identifies commercial capability gaps and needs (e.g., SWOT analysis) and develops approaches to address these.
- Implements and maintains “best practices” in market shaping, product development marketing, and lifecycle management.
- Contributes to the development and execution of new product plans which meet the Division’s worldwide strategic and financial objectives.
- Ensures market information is acquired, competitive activity is monitored, and customer needs are identified.
- Collects, analyzes and interprets sales, financial, and other data to develop reports and identifies and interprets trends to support decision making of products within the Clinical Solutions portfolio.
We are looking for Testers to join our team. Applicants will be expected to have vocational training in computer science (multiplatform or web application development) or other related-degree, and at least 3 years of proven experience.

We are looking for Functional analysts to join our team. Applicants will be expected to have a degree in computing-related or telecommunications engineering disciplines, and at least 3 years of proven experience in functional requirements specification and functional definition of applications preferably in the health sector.
We search for candidates who have the ability to work in a team, adaptability to changes, knowledge and experience under Java development environment, and also good communication skills with clients. Knowledge of UML and an intermediate/advanced level of English would be an asset.
Responsibilities as a functional analyst:
- Define and analyze requirements, and specify the functionality using the application format and following the guidelines of the members involved in the project.
- Analyze and provide the best functional solution.
- Use communication skills (prototypes, interviews, etc.) to refine customer requirements.
- Develop functional and validation test cases to ensure the quality and modules integration.
- Explain and clarify to the development team the functionality to be implemented and any functional issues that they had.
- Review and validate the developments according to the specifications.
- Regularly review the consistency between the requirements and other development contents (user manual, functional documentation, version control, etc.).
- Manage changes and contents related to the software development.
- Understand and know the market position of the client.
- Detect and suggest improvements to the clients through knowledge of their business.
- Advise in the decision-making processes related to the software functionality.

Responsibilities as a software developer:
- Analyze the requirements and implement them or resolve errors keeping in mind the technical architecture, modules affected and software functionalities.
- Estimate time for performing development tasks.
- Create automated tests to verify the developments.
- Code reviews.
- Identify the modules affected by a development.
- Resolve technical incidents assigned by our support team.
- Participate in meetings to define bugs and defects.
- Control the software configuration.
Applicants will be expected to have a degree in computing-related or telecommunications engineering disciplines and at least 3 years of proven experience with Java/J2EE, Swing, Java FX and Hibernate developments.
We search for candidates who have the ability to work in a team, adaptability to changes and ability to learn new knowledge of technologies quickly. Experience with Eclipse, GIT or SVN, knowledge of UML and an intermediate/advanced level of English will be an asset.
